It was super easy to setup and worked great on a 1,200 mile road trip, it was also more water proof than I expected in heavy rain I had almost not water in the back of my truck.
The FLATED Air-Topper is proof that you can, in fact, turn your truck bed into a respectable little camper without taking out a second mortgage or permanently attaching a fiberglass apartment to your vehicle. Iāll admit, the idea of an inflatable truck topper initially sounded like something youād find in the same aisle as pool noodles and inflatable flamingos. But FLATED has genuinely impressed me. Itās surprisingly sturdy, easy to set up, lightweight, and looks pretty darn good on the truck. Best of all, when you donāt need it, you can deflate it and reclaim your truck bed. Try doing that with a traditional camper shell without recruiting three friends and a chiropractor. Inside, thereās plenty of room to stretch out, get comfortable, and enjoy the great outdoors without actually having to sleep in the great outdoors. My dog has already given it his enthusiastic approval, although judging by the photos, he seems to believe I purchased it exclusively for him. Iām apparently just the guy who drives his mobile bedroom around. Now, for the one bone I have to pick: the rear window. The original design is easily my least favorite part of an otherwise excellent product. It feels like FLATED spent all its engineering brainpower making an inflatable camper work and then remembered at the last minute that people might want to look out the back. Iāve purchased their newly redesigned rear window but havenāt had the opportunity to test it yet. Fingers crossed it solves my one real complaint. Overall, the FLATED Air-Topper is a fantastic piece of gear. Itās practical, versatile, surprisingly comfortable, and makes spontaneous camping trips considerably easier. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Would my dog recommend it? Without hesitation. Would he recommend sharing the bed? Apparently, thatās where he draws the line.

Easy to blow up and get on, we did buy a set of actual ratchet straps and put them on as it moved about an inch on the rails even tho we had the straps pulled tight. Itās perfect for our needs, tho we may get the blow up back window later.
I love it! Helps for short or long trips to pick something up that needs covering or transporting a big haul across the state. Easy to put up and tear down

Easy for 2 old people to do ā impressive. I love it all except the tailgate Velcro strap. It would be better to just paste Velcro on tailgate. Lots of room. Toughest part was middle j straps. It cuts into the rain flap on the outside best we can tell is right way. But thumbs up. šÆšÆšÆš„š„š„°
Looks great! Have it installed on my truck. Havenāt gone camping with it yet but it should double the space to carry my gear. The rain skirt kind of looks off due to the curve where the cab and bed meet. It can carry my near 200lbs self on top and is super solid at 90+ MPH. It even cause great air flow into the cab when my rear window is open.

Ordered it to be able to transport our dogs to the vet and the kernels when needed. This cap is amazing set up was effortless and didn't take much time at all. Recieved many questions about it by others looking for this very type of product all in all im 100% pleased with the cap and now that the full back window is available made it even better
These guys are willing to go out of their way to help you find what you need, or to fix any issues you have. A truly American company with great people. One of my issues got me talking with the CEO himself, where he went out of his way to make things right. I recommend these guys to everyone that asks about my canopy.
I hate caps on a pick up but this is a game changer. Being able to maximize the space in my pick up for all my camping gear during the winter months is awesome. Then in the spring cap comes off put the tonneau cover back on.
Amazing topper! Been through rain, snow, and Wyoming wind without an issue. I'm 6'2" and the air topper gives me plenty of space to camp in my truck. And I love the option to climb on top. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had to have my MR50 replaced due to a leak in a side wall seam. Even with the leak the topper remained rigid enough to stay strapped down on my way home 2200 miles from Yellowstone. I sent a warranty claim through the FLATED email system and had a response that same day scheduling a call to review. Within 10 minutes on the call, the CS rep Joe had confirmed the replacement under warranty, and sent me a mailing label to return the leaking topper. I had the brand new replacement within a week. I installed the new MR50 on my Gladiator and kept it on for a week, making sure all panels held air. All panels held at 5.5 lbs. very happy with the quality and versatility of my topper. At 81 I still enjoy camping and fishing. My topper keeps me enjoying those outdoor activities. I keep it simple with a single bed etc. keeps me off the ground,comfortable and dry Also enables multi use of the truck bed when needed. This is my second topper. I bought this one for the height. We LOVE this topper! Tired of having to recruit neighbors every time we needed to put our fiberglass topper on/off, we started looking around for something more lightweight. The Flated topper stood out for quality, price and functionality. The entire experience was fantastic, including, since we're lucky enough to live in Missoula, having Joe and the guys at Flated do our first inflate/install for us! Great to see the pros do it first! The Air-Window is a great add-on. I can't say enough good things about this product and company!
Well I was really surprised. I unwrapped it and all I thought about was duct tape and plastic. Then I blew it up with the hand pump, worked great. We got it up on our f250 and found one problem. We have a cover on our truck. We managed to get the straps around the cover very securely. We put it on in Michigan and drove to Florida. IT WAS GREAT! Everything stayed dry and we were able to pack it in. With the cover our space was limited , this gave us room for everything. So sturdy and looks like we are going boondocking. So much less expensive and so convenient. We can take it down or leave it up so we can put our bikes in. Thank you FLATED!
I truly enjoy this thing, super easy installation for one person and handled the 3 hour drive safely. I bought it because it seemed practical for what I needed and it hasn't disappointed. The takedown was pretty quick and easy as well. Fits right back into its own bag as advertised and stored in a closet.
Inflated and installed on my Tundra for a trip to NYC / Manhattan & Philadelphia from my farm in north central Wisconsin. It was fantastic to use for sleeping, helping a friend haul all of her stuff from a storage outside of NYC to Philadelphia. It weathered hard rains on my 3200-mile round trip at high speeds and did not budge or leak. Picture (1) is leaving my farm, (2) is parked along the Garden State Parkway outside of NYC, (3) is parked on the street one block from the Lincoln Center in Manhattan!, (4) is back home on the farm loading hay. Opps I thought I could load multiple images; what a shame this process did not allow that.
My rear windowās zipper failed. I contacted customer support via e-mail, and they responded within minutesā¦..not hours or days! They shipped the replacement, at no charge, the same day! I had it in 3 days. Amazing customer service!
I had been looking for quite a while for a cap for my Ford Maverick to protect my artwork and art fair supplies when I travel to art shows. I was unable to find one with the height I needed and was on the verge of building my own rig when I came upon the Flated Air topper. I took several double takes when I was looking at this product online and found it hard to believe that after all my searching I was actually looking at a product that would work for me. My only question was if it was going to be deep enough for my panels (before the roof of the topper begins its slope down to the cab). Luckily for me the panels fit and I have already taken it to a fair and am very happy with it. The fact that it is so easy to install and remove (without any tools) is a HUGE factor for me. Our truck is such a multi purpose vehicle for us so the ability to install and uninstall frequently is wonderful for us. I live in the Sacramento Valley which has cool mornings and warm afternoons (hot hot in the summer) so I am conscientious of the changing air pressure within the Air topper. So far, filling it to 5 PSI in the morning gives the air later in the day room to expand and this seems to be working fine. Next summer, when the weather gets really hot again I will definitely keep a close eye on air pressure and explore other air expansion management tactics if I need to. One last thing, the folks at Flated are awesome. I had a couple questions and they emailed me back within 24 hours with answers. Super friendly and really responsive.

Drove from Massachusetts to New Mexico for an Elk hunt and back to Mass. Had zero problems with Flated. Drove 80 MPH thru Kansas and I never had to tighten straps BTW, got a nice 6x6 elk. š
So im pre-ordering mine now. But almost a year ago when I ordered and used my cap itself, my one complaint was it should be an inflated panel on the back as well. And boom now you have one. Youre welcome for the idea.
Sorry no pics yet, But so far it's great! My truck bed and tailgate are a little odd. "2010 dodge ram 1500 quad cab"But still fits good. I might be going with the upgraded rear window at some point. The velcro system for the tailgate did not work correctly for my truck. So I ended up using small screws with washers to secure the velcro. My truck is 16 years old with 165,000 miles on it, so I'm not to worried about a few screws/holes in tailgate. But I could see where it might be a problem for someone with a newer truck.
Quick to get a new back door to me. Mine had malfunctioned. Being able to remove the topper by myself when needed has been a game changer. Didn't want a 24/7 hard topper.

Absolutely love my FLATED Full-Size Standard Cap for my Super Duty. I honestly couldnāt be happier with it. The cap itself has been awesome, but one of my favorite things is how easy it is to put on and take off. When I donāt need it, I can simply fold it up and store it overhead in my garage. No giant fiberglass canopy taking up half the garage, and I can switch back and forth whenever I want. That alone has made garage life so much easier. Hannah also absolutely hooked it up and was great to work with from start to finish. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Couldnāt recommend FLATED enough!

We are a tonneau cover truck family. But thatās because it came that way. We travel/camp a fair amount with our travel trailer and really needed a bit more height for carrying capacity. Our last truck we had placed a cloth over frame āportableā inserted us very well. But I hated having to remove it. And it really dissenters easily. I had just gotten an inflatable kayak to travel with and found out that your company uses the same valves. I was sold on it! Got the CAP80 as I just needed to travel, not sleep with it. Went together easily, put it on myself and absolutely love it! Except it covers my 360 Cameras. Then not a month later O see you have a new back flap, inflatable, thatās going to solve my problem!!! Will order when I get to my winter home! Very excited! So off the cap will come, on will go the tonneau and we will be set! Thank you for an excellent product!!!
