This inflatable truck topper is perfect for my scenario. That is sometimes I need to be able to carry large things like a kayak or canoe on top of the truck and for that I have a ladder rack. Other times, I might want to go camping with my pets in the back of the truck and so itās really easy to switch out between the ladder rack and the topper.
Super easy inflate and figure out the orientation and install onto the truck. I have now taken it more than 2400 miles and Iāve not felt like I should be worried at all about the security of the topper.
I love it! I can do it all by myself from start to finish! I camped last weekend and a wicked thunderstorm rolled through and not one drop of rain made its way inside! Iām a fan š
I love the topper, itās exactly what I needed. I donāt like the QR codes on all of the windows. Too much advertising all over the cover. Also I purchased the electric air pump and the cord is too short. Most vehicles donāt have lighter ports anymore and most trucks have an outlet in the bed. Overall I love it. The instructions were not clear, I scanned the QR code for the installation and it sent me all over the place. I love how easy it is to inflate and install. I will and have recommended it to my friends and anyone who asks about it.

Truth is, I bought an inflatable topper from "the other guys" and it came used and the wrong size. My Flated topper arrived just in time to pack up gear to take my daughter to college. It went from the box to the truck to NC. Rain, wind and sun all in the same weekend. Turns out, the Flated topper handled them all with ease. Great product, now in the bag and waiting on hunting season to open! Thank you Flated for providing a quality product!
Have not gotten to camp with it yet. The ordering, delivery , and set up were all easy and efficient. I love the look and space in my truck bed. I have a 8ft bed and with the topper there is a lot of room for camping. Very dxcited to take it to Big Bear next weekend.

Arrived quickly but actually received the incorrect size window covering package with it but Joe called me right away and made it right. I love this thing! No more checking the weather and moving my stuff in and out of the garage!
Awesome product! I packed up my son for college and drove 4K miles roundtrip to drop him at college and had a memorable fly fishing trip along the way with multiple day stops for fishing. I had it on my truck for the first time in less than 30 min. My fly rod carrier was easily strapped to the top using the D rings. The top was rugged and quite for the entire trip.
Wow! What a really cool truck topper. Took us a few hours as we had to take off an old bed cover, and we took our time, but we love this topper! We are moving and wanted to be able to take up some more stuff with us and keep it dry. We had a torrential rain today in South Florida and the inside of the truck stayed 98% DRY! Just a few drops in one corner.
We ordered the cap in desperation hoping it would fit our needs without costing thousands of dollars. We show poultry and needed a cap to get them to the State fair where they wouldn't cook in an open truck bed. We tow a camper and needed the cap for the birds safety. It has done everything we could have asked for and more. It was way cooler than expected in the bed (we keep a thermometer with a digital readout when we travel). The airflow was good and when it rained we could quickly pull over and install the windows. The fact we don't need a lift in the garage and can stow it in the camper has made our day. It is way tougher than the pictures give it credit and it like its looks way better than a basic cap. We love it and wish we would have found it sooner!
Used it recently on our OCMD trip. Held up wonderfully. Had to deflate it to get into parking garage. So simple and pumping back up easy when it was time to leave. Would highly recommend.
Easy to set up. Took the advice of another buyer on YouTube and installed a strip of Velcro on the tailgate instead of using the strap.
Contacted customer service after purchase to ask about keeping it on year-round. I live in the Cascade Mountains and don't have a garage. I was assured no problem.
Did have to ask AI chat about the rain skirt, which went in, not out. We cut pizza slices on each corner to help it lay flat
Rain is headed here this week so that will be the next test!
The cap is absolutely amazing, the extra headroom the MR series provides is incredible. All the caps are amazing but I recently upgraded to the MR56 and the headroom allows for a higher bed with storage underneath, great for a rainy day; not claustrophobic or cramped. Easy to put on and take off. Incredibly secure on both the highway and off road paths through the mountains. Easy to clean and packs up small, easy to store inside. A one person job to assemble. I get a lot of complements from everyone seeking a better set-up. The air filled walls provide great insulation and never had an issue with leaks and it seems to downpour every trip. I clip on a canopy to the d-rings on top and span it out, allows for a great barrier when cooking or getting in and out while it rains. The D-Hooks make a good trip great for how often I use them. I ordered the Air Window. I canāt wait for the new addition to arrive.
Really a nice solution for someone who doesnāt want a cap on all the time. Great build quality. Instructions a little lacking but overall really pretty easy.
I retired in 2025 and had a plan to convert a van into a travel vehicle for my wife and I. After she expressed that she hated long car rides and had no desire to join me on my little adventures, I decided to convert my 2008 Toyota Tundra into a camper truck for one. I have owned other trucks with camper shells but always hated having to take it off when I had to haul tall items. I was watching a YouTube video on Truck camper conversions and I saw the Flated Topper for the first time. I started investigating and was intrigued. I decided to give it a try and since it arrived I have been blown away. It is everything I was hoping for and more. It is so sturdy and easy to put off and on. It travels great too, no noise and no extra weight. I just love this product. Best invention ever. I canāt wait to take it around the country.
Awesome product. Had it on my truck in 30 minutes. Strapped my flyrod carrier to the top and made a 4K mile fly fishing road trip to drop my son off at college. We had more than enough room for all our camping/fishing gear and all of his college stuff. It was super rugged and quite! Highly recommended
Bought for my artist daughter who was moving to another State and had 30 paintings to move. It worked perfectly. Easy to install, easy to store, and easy to travel with on top of her small SUV. No downsides!!!
I thought it would have a back window like the front, not too sure if I like the idea of the back flapping going down the road. I would really like to have the option of a more solid back window. I am exiciterd to take on my first hunting trip this September
I love this, used it and drove with it with no issues at all. The battery powered pump inflated it in less than a minute for each section. So easy to install.
Looks awesome, fits great, very solid feel. Haven't used it yet, but so far so good. The only gripe I may have is the tailgate strap, it needs to be lower, but I can't really lower it because of the latch.
We were debating between Flated or a hard shell carrier, and I couldnāt be happier with our decision to choose Flated. It was so easy to inflate then even easier to install on our car. Amazing quality
