Wow! What a really cool truck topper. Took us a few hours as we had to take off an old bed cover, and we took our time, but we love this topper! We are moving and wanted to be able to take up some more stuff with us and keep it dry. We had a torrential rain today in South Florida and the inside of the truck stayed 98% DRY! Just a few drops in one corner.
We ordered the cap in desperation hoping it would fit our needs without costing thousands of dollars. We show poultry and needed a cap to get them to the State fair where they wouldn't cook in an open truck bed. We tow a camper and needed the cap for the birds safety. It has done everything we could have asked for and more. It was way cooler than expected in the bed (we keep a thermometer with a digital readout when we travel). The airflow was good and when it rained we could quickly pull over and install the windows. The fact we don't need a lift in the garage and can stow it in the camper has made our day. It is way tougher than the pictures give it credit and it like its looks way better than a basic cap. We love it and wish we would have found it sooner!
Really a nice solution for someone who doesn’t want a cap on all the time. Great build quality. Instructions a little lacking but overall really pretty easy.
Topper is a one man install in about 30 mins. I added a seal kit around the tailgate to keep the dust out and paint protective film under the back window Velcro strap.
Held up great on our 24+ hours on the road to and from Canada from the US. Waiting urgently for the MR56 AIR-WINDOW to come back into stock. Please Hurry! :)
Inflated quickly and fits my ‘24 Ram 1500 (5’7” bed) like a glove! From tote bag to strapped down and ready to roll in about a half hour, by myself. The HD Velcro overlaps are well thought out and should be rainproof running down the road. I own a couple of inflatable “zodiac” type dive boats and my Flated topper seems to be the same super tough material. If you plan to inflate/deflate multiple times a year, I’d suggest buying an electric pump like the one sold by Flated. It takes some energy to manually inflate to 5-8psi. Looks great and I’m excited to get it out on the hunt this year!
Was easy to put together and blown up. Also was easy to put on and attach to my truck. I drove around some with it on to make sure it wasn't going to fly off and it did great. I then took it on a small highway trip and it was awesome. It's secure and doesn't move around and kept out the rain. Then I took it on a six hour roadtrip to the beach and a six hour trip home. The top did great and kept out the rain and was much less of a pain to pack because I didn't have to try to play Tetris stacking everything in the bed to keep it under the bed cover like I usually did. It was a good purchase and I hope it holds up for years to come as it wasn't cheap.
Took me about 30 minutes to inflate and install the first time. That same day I drove 13 hours to Sidney MT and drove through a powerful rain storm and everything in the truck bed stayed dry. I would suggest doing something to accommodate the backup camera

Just got this a few days ago. So far, I have nothing to complain about. I have had other soft tops in the past that aren't even close to this good. I can't wait to be able to order the upgrade air window for the back.

Loving it so far! Great look, easy to set up and take down, and seems rock solid. Highly recommend if you want a shell at times and an open bed during others.
What a great product very easy to blow up less than 10 minutes to put together and put on. I love it folder and put it away when I need it. Just blow it back up and put it back on very durable. Can’t stand enough good things about it. I highly recommend it in a great price.
I have not given it the full shake down, but I've done a test install and a drive down the highway, very impressed with the quality and build. It looks like it will be perfect for my needs
Impressed! I needed a camper shell but do not need it all of the time. Excellent choice in Flated ! Works like a champ, sturdy, and leak proof. Glad I purchased it!
I purchased a FLATED air topper for our hunting trip to North Dakota this September. We traveled 2700 miles total in our trip. During this time, we encountered rain, sleet, 30 degrees up to 60-degree temperatures and up to 20mph winds. The FLATED topper worked incredibly well. It kept our belongings dry and dust free. The six straps used to hold it down never failed, even in the higher wind speeds. We traveled down the road as fast as 85mph and never had a single issue. We did not apply the tape on the tailgate to hold down the back flap and had no problems with dust or rain without it.
I am very satisfied with the FLATED air topper and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a sharp looking, lightweight, economical topper. To "top" it off, I removed the FLATED air topper when I got home, released the air, folded it up in its carry bag, and put it on a shelf in my garage.
I'm thoroughly please with the convenience and use of the FLATED air topper. It is a durable, lightweight alternative to other toppers.
Finally pulled the trigger on a FLATED topper before a Wyoming elk hunt, and couldn't be happier. While the fit is not perfect, it kept the dust and rain off of our gear and rode snug on the 18 hour trip, while holding up great through rough mountain terrain. The ability to take it off and store it between adventures is a huge plus.
Haven’t used it yet but I’m sure I’ll love it. Only thing I would recommend is to offer an accessory bag for the windows, pump and straps. I purchased a 30 inch padded telescope bag with a divider…works perfect
We traveled 900 miles with all of our luggage under the flated. Hot weather, cold weather, rain, highway and mountains. It did absolutely perfect!! It’s just what we needed!
Love the Flated Topper, it's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a topper that wouldn't be on all the time, easy to take on and off, and easy to store. This does everything I was hoping. I received the topper and then inflated it and installed it easily the first time. I then drove with it on for a few days including a 1 hour long trip at 75 miles an hour. Everything worked great.
For the first real trip, I drove with it on for a 4,800 mile, 8 day roundtrip from Central New York to Arizona and back. I went through heavy rain, sun, and wind - all the contents in the truck bed stayed dry and rode well. When I got home, the main part of the topper was still inflated and good. The front part riding up towards the cab was completely deflated. So I pumped it back up and definitley have a small leak that needs to be fixed. I haven't researched how to fix the leak yet so if someone has pointers that would be great. Although that would be the only dissapointment with my purchase that after my first trip with it, I already have a hole to fix.
Overall though, I love this thing. Oh and definlty get the electric pump, makes it really easy.
The extra space for stacking decoys in the back of my truck has been great, and I can still tow my camper without worrying about my payload capacity because the topper is so lightweight. The color works just fine with my truck as well.
this topper fits perfectly, installation was a breeze. And looks a lot better than I thought it would. Is extremely sturdy and does not move during travel. So far, absolutely thrilled with the purchase.
This cap is great. I took it on my trip to Florida from Ohio, to move my daughter into college. Everything in the bed stayed dry for the entire trip even though we hit several southern rainstorms. I love how light it is and so easy to install.
