I thought it would have a back window like the front, not too sure if I like the idea of the back flapping going down the road. I would really like to have the option of a more solid back window. I am exiciterd to take on my first hunting trip this September
I love this, used it and drove with it with no issues at all. The battery powered pump inflated it in less than a minute for each section. So easy to install.
I had installed the topper the day after it arrived. I planned to go truck camping soon after I built my bed platform. Well, the truck bed was needed before camping and it was great the topper is light weight to remove and use the truck as a truck!
2018 Toyota Tundra single cab 8ft bed. Fits great! Install was better with two esp with a taller truck. Packaged well. Having the windows in the sun made them very pliable.
Overall happy. I opted to have the rear flap just hang over the tailgate. That’s the only critique I would have is to improve that area.
The Short: Buy it. It's solid, customer service is excellent, and it will be one of the best Truck upgrades.
Full Story: I had an issue with my topper originally, and the team worked through it without hesitation and on time. I just finished my 3,300-mile road trip with this topper, which is why I bought it and I do not regret it at all. I was able to secure all my gear out of sight and had zero issues. Really like how I was able to secure a bunch of SUP boards on top to hit the lake.
I would also recommend the air window, definitely a must-have.
Thoughts:
The pockets on the inside of the topper are nice, I wish they had elastic or something similar that made them more accessible, because you can't really fit anything in there.
The Bag, I wish the bag was a bit bigger or was actually a bag. I am seasoned when it comes to inflatable sups, docks, etc. but this one is a bit tough to fold up and get it to fit, especially with the air window. It would be nice to have a bag for all the straps as well. That is my only con I can say.
We bought the truck bed topper and drove over 2000 miles round trip from the Midwest out to Utah. We experience rain, wind and even some hail. The topper performed great with no issues. We couldn’t be more happy. The customer service was outstanding!

I have only had this on my truck for about a week, but in that time I have driven about 800 miles on highways and Interstates (65-80mph) and it has done a great job. I even drove through a driving rain storm on the KS/CO border that slowed big rigs due to the excessive wind. I knew I needed to check for wet gear when I arrived at my destination, but everything was dry as a bone. All good so far!

Took this old man about 40 minutes to unpack it, pull all the packing material off {they use a lot!}... Pump it up {you should see my biceps now} and toss it on the back of my 3500 ram HD
It looks great, hard as a rock when blown up to only 5 PSI and I anticipate this is going to be just what I need for those one or two night camping trips And when I pull my RV, I don't have to worry about the height of stuff I toss in the back of the truck

Everything came as promised, topper and mattress inflated without any drama, was easy to carry up and install, mattress with memory foam top is quite comfortable and we're looking forward to lots of camping in our Flated products. Deflating is a bit of challenge to get it small enough to fit back in carry bags. Mark in Texas
I was a little skeptical of how well it would hold up and stay inflated in Upstate NY during the winter months. But so far its holding strong and works AMAZINGLY well. I purchased it for 1 purposes and now Im thinking about all the other things I could do with it. 3 down sides to it... 1. Fitment on my bedsides, the topper does like to sit on the outer edges of my bedsides. Understandably it is made to fit multiple styles of truck bed so there will be some fitment issues. 2. Forward bed corners where the topper meets the bed, it does let some snow and probably rain in at those points and the rubber "flaps" are already starting to rip on the left corner. Not bad but its started. 3 The tailgate strap for the tailgate flap, the strap DOES NOT stay. My tailgate is curved at the top and the strap slides up as the flap meets the wind resistance. This does leave little gaps for snow and rain to enter the back of the bed. I've been think about somehow attaching magnet straps to the velcro on the tailgate strap and seeing if that fixes the problem. Besides those small issues I LOVE IT! Looks great, most of the time I have no idea its there besides driving in higher winds. All and all super happy with it and thinking about purchasing more items from the company. 9.5-10
We have two long bed trucks (Ford and Chevrolet). We use both trucks to pull 5th wheel horse trailers but needed a easy solution for bed enclosure when not towing. We were skeptical of the sturdiness of the Flated Canopy but we need not be. This product works perfect for us and in 10 minutes can switch to the other truck if needed. We are so happy! Thank you!
I have been very happy with the canopy so far. I have been on a long trip and no issues at all. Carwash was no problem. Looks good. Quality has been exactly as advertised. Overall I’m impressed with the product and the customer service was excellent!
Only comment i have is I really don’t like the tailgate strap. I know they can do better. At least include a small roll of velcro for sticking on the tailgate like I did.(see photo ) Honestly, an inflatable lift gate would be cool!
Works as advertised. Now I have the ability to cover my gear when on a trip with my fifth wheel. Keeps the weather and road dust out. Much easier to put on and take off than my old fiberglass topper.
Setup was easy took about an hour to get it all lined out.
Sets well on the truck does not move. I had to tension two of the straps once five days into trip, other than that the air been good and everything is tight.
Have driven through some rain no hard down pours and the back has stayed dry.
We really enjoy it so far two weeks and 2800 miles of travel.
I got my full size flated top and air deck a few weeks back. Installing it was super simple and it fit nicely on top of my tonneau cover. Took it for a one night camping test drive to a beach in Bodega Bay, BA. It was a very windy ( 20-22 mph) night and the cover held up real nice !The air deck was also very comfy with thin mattress tops from my camping cots on it. The insulation was really good and we (my dog and I ) were very comfortable throughout the night. Very pleased with the product(s) so far. I use it on a 2006 F-150 8' bed.
Great product but would recommend snaps for the lower portion of the back flap. The truck tailgate strap does not hold the flap down very well. I installed snaps on mine and it works great especially at highway speeds.
Absolutely amazing experience. I'm a military veteran living in Alaska. I was instant messaging with Hannah. Instead of making me jump through hoops to show my military status she just sent me a code for the 10%. I ended up calling her and she just handled everything over the phone, super easy. UNFORTUNATELY, she told me my product was backordered and wouldn't ship until June 20. No big deal, this was mid to late May. LUCKILY, about a week or less after I made the purchase I got a notice that it had shipped! I received it on June 2nd much to my delight. It is awesome and well made. I have a slide in camper and needed something that I could easily install and remove by myself anytime I want to take the family camping. This fit the bill. I have only one critique. The velcro strap for the tailgate doesn't work well on my truck (2000 Ford F-350). The tailgate curves in at the top and the thing just kind of slides off. I ended up using a few heavy duty magnets that I use to hold it down. I'm wondering if Flated's R&D department has considered folding and stitching magnets into the rear opening flap instead of using the current velcro system, or at least making it an option. If I found out that happened I would want one. All in all extremely pleased!

Works great so far, it fits over top of my tonneau cover when rolled up which is great because I don’t have to remove it. I just pop the flated top on when I need it and pop it off when I don’t. 🤘🏼
Products fits great and hasn’t leaked. Only issue is the rear window because of ram having a curved tailgate. The supplied velcrow strap that is supposed to secure window slips up on tail gate allowing a little bit of flap noise. Not a deal breaker and I currently have a solution I made to remedy the issue.
I'm really liking the design and the quality of the Flated top for my long bed F250. The top is better insulated than the canvas-type top, and it's nice to be able to open side windows and have screens to keep out bugs. Zero issues with air loss, and the valve system is pretty awesome.
Bought this for one reason only.
My wife runs a dog rescue. She has to travel hours sometimes to pick up dogs or deliver dogs. The Pacific Northwest can have crazy weather swings especially in the winter. This canopy makes for an easy install. Transport the dogs in rain, snow, freezing weather. And out of the summer sun, whenever that gets here. Once the transport is done it is a quick unhook and she can pop the canopy off herself and store until the next rescue.
So I would say this purchase is living up to its single reason. And quite well.

Although I haven’t had to use it yet, I have inflated it and put it on my truck. Feels very durable and it was easy to inflate and also deflate. Taller than expected which was good for me because I wanted more head clearance. The think it will work well for my need
This is a replacement and is great. The first one developed a air leak and was replaced with in a month. Excellent people to work with. Extremely happy with the topper.
Absolutely love the full size Flated air topper. It’s very light and easy for me to take on and off by myself. Makes it easy for me and my son to go camping. We just got back from a weekend trip. I built a little door for the back so I can keep my tailgate down for more room. It’s perfect for camping. I was able to hang lights and even a fan from some of the hooks on the inside. The lip on the back window was nice for setting my phone and a bottle of water on. We had plenty of room to move around. It’s very durable and well made too. Temperature went from 80 degrees to 45 degrees at night and everything stayed inflated with no issues. Highly recommend flated! I’m looking to purchase the air deck that fits my truck next.
The topper is incredibly easy to install and works fantastic with one minor modification/addition of a strap between the front truck bed tie down and the rear topper tie down ring to prevent the topper from slipping rearward during high-speed driving.
Took a trip between the east and west coast and back again through some pretty severe weather and everything remained in place and weather tight.
We are very happy and confident with the topper!!

This is an unboxing and install review for the biggest topper, the 8ft long bed version. First of all, it's bigger and heavier than I imagined. In the box, I'd guess it is close to 50lbs with the included pump and other bits. I ordered the additional air chuck adapter and gauge and am seriously glad I did. The hand pump works great, but would have taken easily an hour to inflate the big side chambers. I tried the hand pump initially and after almost 10 minutes turned to the compressor adapter. I filled it to 3PSI initially, which made it rigid and easily manageable. Getting on the pickup wasn't difficult by myself (I'm in my 60's) and fitting it was easy using the included straps. The fit is better than I had hoped. Security is surprisingly firm and does not move at all on the bed rails. I drove it with the side windows removed, and the back window did not get blown out or displaced by wind. Another happy surprise. The pickup is a 3rd gen Dodge Ram. The topper itself seems very well made. Solid, tough, and looks like it's going to seal well. The fit isn't perfect but that would have been really unlikely. Overall, first impressions are stellar.
