Looks great! Have it installed on my truck. Haven’t gone camping with it yet but it should double the space to carry my gear. The rain skirt kind of looks off due to the curve where the cab and bed meet. It can carry my near 200lbs self on top and is super solid at 90+ MPH. It even cause great air flow into the cab when my rear window is open.

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

Exactly what I needed! Easy setup after watching the Gen4 FLATED cap video twice. Did it all myself just fine in like 45 minutes from opening to driving around with it installed and taking my time. Thought at first I needed to leave the yellow valve pushed in but figured it out after a few minutes of operator error.

Overall, I'm very happy with this bed topper. It arrived early, install was done in under an hour, and in a couple of days, I set off driving from Colorado to New Jersey. It was so stable on the highway. I got as high as 90 MPH and passed through some storms. Had some strong winds and heavy rain. This thing is properly waterproof. I'm excited to go camping with it. I'm planning to attach a tarp to the rings on the roof of the topper for a makeshift tent. Strong winds will blow you around a bit more. It's not crazy, but it's noticeable. It also has a fuel economy penalty. My fuel economy dropped by more than 2 MPG. I'm sure at lower speeds, it wouldn't be so bad. Even considering the fuel economy loss, I'm happy with this purchase. It seems like a good quality product that suits my needs. I just wish there was a good way to secure things I store in the bed. Anyone can walk up and open it. We had to move things from the bed to the cab overnight to be safe.

Taken it to the beach and Electric Forest. Quick on, quick off. Sturdy as hell, seems very robust. I love it!

This thing is amazing! It inflates very quickly, is super light, sits very securely on the rim of the pickup bed, and can be put on, or taken off in just minutes. It's more affordable than a hard top shell, but seems just as sturdy--if not more so. What a great product!

Ever since I had heard of these bed toppers it has taken me a year and a half to finally nab one and plop it on the back of my little pickup. Honestly I was little bit of a sceptic. I had finally seen enough ads and read enough reviews that I finally bit the bullet. I’ve had it for just over a week now and I gotta say…. I love the thing! It’s a simple setup, it’s light weight, and it just….works. It’s perfect for my business to keep things dry on rainy days. I drive in the interstate quite a bit and yes, it makes absolutely no sound. This is a great product and I highly recommend it. Great job on these bed toppers Flated! This one is out of the park at centerfield!!!

I wish I would have gotten the larger one. Overall a great topper.

Bought this to be able to use my Maverick for family camping trips. Didn’t want to have to store a hard shelled top for only occasional uses. Last weekend our family went camping for the first time. It was great not just because we could bring more equipment, but it was easy to pop off and store so I could take the open truck out to the beach. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Drove back to my home in Indianapolis, IN from Kansas with my wife and 2 sons. Was able to put to use my Flated Bed Topper with even more "stuff" secured on its top!

Great product! I took a leap hoping this would fit my Rivian, and it's almost perfect. Maybe another inch or two longer and it would be great, but I'm not complaining overall. I used velcro on the tailgate to keep it shut, and put a couple of weather strips on the front corners to help with small gaps, and it has been almost entirely waterproof. Works great!

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

Works great on a Rivian R1T! Lightweight and very easy to install. Fits almost perfectly, no gaps or overhangs.

Initial install was about 20 minutes. Installation will get faster the more I do it. It's heavier than I imagined but it was still easy to pick up, move, and put on the truck. I did it in my garage. My initial impression is that it is solid, durable, and well constructed. I'm 5'10" and can almost sit upright inside the cab with the topper on it. I have to duck my head slightly. I ran some errands with the topper on my truck and I didn't even notice it was there, except for the limited visibility out the rearview mirror. The topper has a small window up against the cab. I installed both the front and rear windows and could see out of the rearview but the topper cab window is vertically narrow. So it's an obstructed view out of the already small rear window. It's something I'll get used to. I think for future installs I won't put the cab window on the topper and open the sliding rear window, which should make visibility a bit better. I would totally recommend this topper for those of us who only need a topper on occasion.

Customer photo review of COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

Overall it’s great and it functions as a cover for the bed. The one reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I wish there was a way to secure it. Even when the tailgate is locked, nothing is that secure as it’s just velcroed shut. If there was an option to secure things just a bit more I would be 100% in. Thank you!

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

I have a Ford Maverick and needed a cheaper option for a topper, one that didn't cost almost $5K, as the fiberglass ones do. First the good. It seems very well made, and durable, and in general I was surprised with the fit. It's affordable and much sturdier than I expected. I really like all the tie down D rings on the roof, although I have only used the two back ones to tie up the rear flap/window. Now the less stellar things, which may be because I have a Maverick, and it is unibody, not conventional body on frame, where can and bed are separate units. There's a rain skirt that runs along the bottom of the topper, and it may work great for a regular truck, because you could in theory tuck the flap down between the cab and the bed. This doesn't work on a Maverick. First I did what the instructions said to do, from inside the topper, push the skirt under the bottom, towards the cab, with something blunt like a paint stirring stick. This works well enough in the middle, but towards the corners it can't be done, for the reason outlined above. So the center part is tucked under, but the corner parts are folded over themselves and creating a bulge in the corners. This causes the topper to not being pushed all the way against the plastic trim on the cab. Add to this the fact, that the edge of the bed rail angles slightly upward the last two inches and the plastic trim around the can edge also angles out from the top to the bottom. The final result was, that the top edge of the topper is slightly above the cab, and the curled up corner of the rain skirt keeps the topper from making contact with the cab, and the gab increases the further up you look. I tried to solve this by folding the skirt under the topper edge, but towards the bed. Yes, it makes a weird 45° fold on the front side, but it seems to fit better. The topper slid closer to the cab by about an inch, but now it is far from water tight. I tried to address this with some rubber pipe insulation, but they come in 6' increments, and that is slightly less than what is needed. Because the gap is bigger at top than at the bottom, I have to trim it from where it goes down vertically in order to make it fit perfectly. If I can make it work perfectly, I'll update with photos. The much hated tailgate strap with the Velcro on is completely useless on a Maverick. It is supposed to be located in the exact spot, what the thickness of the tailgate narrows, so it simply slides up and above the edge, doing absolutely nothing to hold the window flap down. I solved this rather easily with a magnet strip with adhesive and a Velcro strip, also with adhesive. Married the two adhesive sides together, and stuck it on the Velcro on the flap. This flap is going nowhere. Besides these two issues, I do think this is a great product, and I can highly recommend it!

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

It's nice very quality and durable for an inflatable topper. My only complaint is the rain guard that tucks isn't designed well.

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

I love that this is so light and yet so durable. I drove through some really torrential rain and it didn't move a bit. The fact that I can store it so easily is especially important to me since I don't always want a cap on my truck. If I need one though, this is so quick and easy to set up and install. I'm happy with the purchase, the only thing that I would recommend Maverick owners do is order a few of those weather strips to line the bottom of it with. It really doesn't seal up to the base of the Maverick otherwise That's why I gave four stars instead of five. I had difficulty getting the edges to line up, but once again that might just be me not knowing how to do it well yet. Possibly filling less air than the 5 lb I put in it would cure this problem. I used a ratchet strap to pull the topper more snug before I tighten up the straps that were provided with it and that seemed to work well. Overall very happy.

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

I ordered this for a Rivian R1T (as recommended by Flated). It works ok, but is not a perfect fit. Otherwise, this is fine. Very easy to install and remove, and packs down easily.

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

Easy to install. Light weight, yet strong. Love the fact it can be removed easily. Purchased for a Rivian R1T. While the Ford Maverick topper does work on the Rivian, modifications needed to be made, sealing the bed rails (specifically the front rail), extending the lower rear window 'skirt' to allow using the velcro'ed strap, and adding water runoff shirts on lower topper corners near tailgate. Needed a topper and this fits my needs.

COMPACT-MAVERICK CAP46

Disappointed, regretting purchase. No windows on sides. Does not look good on truck. I took it off and have packed it up already. Hopefully it will find a use.
