Meet Taylor Philpot — founder and Executive Director of Revive Outdoors, a nonprofit dedicated to helping new adult hunters learn the skills needed to safely and ethically hunt. Through conservation, adventure, and education, Taylor is working to create a lasting impact while honoring the legacy of his daughter Hattie.

About Taylor

After moving more than 10 times in 6 years during military service, Taylor and his family are now back home in Birmingham, Alabama. As a lifelong outdoorsman, hunter, and storyteller, Taylor uses his adventures to inspire others and create positive change through conservation.

Alongside his wife, Taylor also owns Hattie's Toyland, a children's toy store created in honor of their daughter Hattie.

The Ride

Taylor adventures in a 2022 Ford Maverick XL that has been upgraded for off-road exploration while staying practical and fuel efficient. Built for budget-friendly adventure, it helps him travel farther and carry everything needed for the next journey.

Adventure With Purpose

Taylor's journey is bigger than hunting. Through his mission with Revive Outdoors, every trip becomes an opportunity to raise awareness for mental health, conservation, and the importance of helping others. His goal is to harvest a buck in every state while bringing attention to PTSD awareness and creating meaningful conversations.

The Next Adventure

Taylor is always chasing the next challenge. Upcoming adventures include a waterfowl hunt in Ohio followed by whitetail hunting opportunities throughout Indiana, Michigan, or Kentucky. Every new state represents another chance to explore, learn, and make an impact.

Dream Hunt

Taylor's dream hunt is a father-son elk hunt with his son Nolan. Since Nolan was four years old, he has been fascinated by elk bugling. One day Taylor hopes to share the experience of an archery elk hunt during the September rut and watch his son experience the adventure.
