FLATED at the Old Salt Festival

  • 2 min read

This June, the FLATED crew packed up the trucks and headed out to the Old Salt Festival, a celebration of land, food, and the people who care for both. The event brought together ranchers, chefs, conservationists, and outdoor folks from all over Montana to share stories, meals, and music under the big sky.

This year, we showed up not just as fans but as proud sponsors. We brought along plenty of our Air-Exec Furniture, and by the end of the weekend it was everywhere, serving as the go-to hangout zone for kids, parents, and anyone looking for a comfy spot to kick back between meals and music.

We invited family, friends, and a few lucky customers won tickets! Everyone rolled in with their trucks ready to camp. Even when the weather turned rough, the kind of sideways rain that tests your setup, our crew stayed warm, dry, and comfortable inside their FLATED Air-Topper setups. The elements gave it their best shot, but our FLATED Air-Toppers held the line.

The heart of Old Salt beats for land stewardship—the idea that caring for the land and those who work it sustains us all. It’s a message we can get behind completely. We believe the same thing about adventure: take care of your gear, your people, and the places that make it all possible.

And let’s not forget the food. Sarah Glover, Tourant, and Peter Cho cooked up unforgettable meals using local ingredients, all grilled and fire-roasted right there in the open air. You haven’t lived until you’ve had a chef-level meal under storm clouds and starlight.

A huge thank you to the Mannix Family for hosting such an incredible event and welcoming everyone to their ranch. We’re grateful to be part of something that celebrates good food, good land, and even better company.

Until next year, keep it dry, keep it local, and keep it FLATED.
