If anyone knows how to live life on the move, it’s Dan Bailey of Gridless Media. Dan spends 365 days a year living on the road, crisscrossing the country in his Jeep Gladiator and documenting expos, overland travel, and life beyond the pavement. His build is centered around the CAP51 AirTopper, which he uses full time as both a mobile gear hauler and home base. With the Gladiator’s modest payload, weight matters—and the ultralight AirTopper makes it possible to carry camera gear, camping equipment, and daily essentials without overloading his JEEP or slowing him down. Nimble, versatile, and road-ready… kind of like Dan himself.

Since picking up his AirTopper in early July, Dan has essentially been on a non-stop cross-country tour. Sedona was the starting line, followed by a loop through Colorado, Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee, before heading back through Colorado and down to Oklahoma. The AirTopper has been a constant companion through it all, proving its durability and livability for full-time travel and real-world overland use.

And he’s far from done. Dan will be hitting major events like King of the Hammers and multiple Overland Expos, where he’ll be showing off his Jeep Gladiator CAP51 AirTopper build, answering questions, and living proof that full-time road life is more than doable—it’s dialed.
